I have a Masters of Music Education with a concentration in Vocal Music from Alabama State University. EXCELLENT EDUCATOR!!!

I am recent graduate of Grand Canyon University and I completed my student teaching with Atlanta Public Schools while working in a Special Needs Kindergarten and First grade class. I worked with the lead teacher to prepared modified and differentiated lessons for students. I also served as a special needs paraprofessional in an Autism/MOID class. In this class, I assisted in teaching modified instruction, rotation stations, and life skills. I also assisted with assistive technology, feeding, and toileting. Being that I am a visual learning I try to work in steps showing them what is expected and them I allow them to slowly work it out themselves based off of what I've done. I've done a lot of teaching to children with Autism and our teaching style varied to fit the way the child was able to learn.
