I have been teaching GED and functional literacy (TABE) to adults in a prison setting for many many years. Love to teach!! I believe that all students can learn with a patient tutor. Many of my students find math frustrating but I have the ability to break all concepts down to the most basic elements and build from there. My comments on tutoring Math : I have been teaching middle school math through pre-algebra for over 15 years. I work with students whom have behavior, attention, or emotional problems. Math is my passion, and I bring it to my teaching!

I am a leader in positive behavior plans, teaching students with emotional/behavioral/attention issues. I am well received by students and build rapport quickly.
