I have been teaching at the university level for the past 10 years. The majority of my teaching has been in software and digital applications as well as design and fine art. I am well versed in all current office software and web development and imaging software. I am a patient and understanding teacher, I employ humor and incentives to keep students engaged and interested in the subject. As a recipient of an Associates Degree Summa Cum Laude; I have and more importantly my students have experienced success within and outside of the classroom. Twenty-one out of twenty-four 4th graders under my tutelage increased MAP scores by over 20 points on average when the objective was just for 8 points. My proficiency in instructing in reading, writing, English Language Arts, and comprehension led to me being entrusted with conducting an enrichment program at my school over 1,300 students that led to me receiving 2 awards of Excellence of Service Award and Paraprofessional of the Month. My PLT scores were in the top 15% with 190 out of 200 that led to a Recognition of Excellence Certificate indicating this proficiency.
