A Little Bit About Me...

I have worn many hats and done many things that all apply to the classroom and teaching young people. I believe that education is the key to life and living. But a person has to believe they can do it first and I believe everyone can learn and should be given the opportunity
I ask a lot of questions to get the students thinking. I believe in teaching young people and the adults I have worked with to think critically fist. Then I work with them on being able to articulate and write their ideas down...subject matter follows naturally if they have the confidence and can just think for themselves not just spit back facts and what others want to hear. I would travel and relocate for a job.

I hold a bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I majored in Elementary Education for two years before I switched majors. I started a master degree program in International Relations in 2009 and decided to return to school in the fall for a master's degree in social work. I have experience in private school and public school systems. I completed course hours for college in public school systems as well as working for public and private schools.

A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated from Texas A&M University earning a BS in biology with a 3.75 GPA. I have taken course work in many disciplines of biology as well as chemistry, biochemistry, physics, algebra, statistics, and English. The curriculum emphasized the importance of integrating concepts rather than memorizing individual points. I developed strong organizational and writing skills. I believe that the ability to articulate your thoughts concisely on paper leads to a better understanding of the material and ability to communicate with others.
