As a music student at metro, and a jazz/classical pianist with over 15 years of experience, I’ve had a lot of experience teaching students musical technique, especially in terms of modern music/jazz. I’ve been in many different types of bands, ranging from classical quartets to rock bands, and have received several awards, including awards for musicianship at the Greeley jazz festival. I also play the drums and guitar. I’m also double majoring in aviation technology at the Metropolitan state college of Denver.

A Little Bit About Me...

For the last 3 years I have been working as a special education teacher at a non-proft treatment facility. I enjoy working with children. I conduct myself in a very positive manner and do a very good job in navigating between teaching material to the class and supportively intervening with behavior challenges and conducting solid classroom management. On two different occasions in the first class, I addressed a concern, did not power struggle and both situations ended up positively for the youth and for the rest of the class.
