I have worked with preschoolers and children K-8. Furthermore, I have tutored in Reading Comprehension, Math, Writing Skills, and Spanish. I have worked as an Office Manager, where I used Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Data Entry programs. Tutoring children in Reading Comprehension gave me great satisfaction because most of them made great improvements, and were able to raise their grades in this subject. I also taugh phonics, vocabulary and grammar to English Learners. Moreover, I teach children ages 10-13 bible classes. I volunteer at St. Joachim Church in Madera California. I also tutored students 7-8 Reading Comprehension, Writing Skills and Math (Basic Math, Algebra). I am a Fresno State graduate with my BA Degree in Liberal Studies. I'm currently in the Multiple-Subject Credential Program. I have two years experience tutoring by working for the Madera Adult School CBET Program. I tutor all grades and all subjects. I also have tutored for a semester during my Junior year of high school. I am very well rounded in all subject matters like: history, math, English/langauge arts, music, drama, geography and science topics.
My teaching style is very unique. I start off by just getting to know the student and having them get to know and trust me. A Little Bit About Me...

I reached University level in Mexico before moving to the United States. Also, I got my AA degree from Merced Community College and transfered to CSU Fresno where I got my BA degree, both in Spanish major. I have taken Beginning Algebra, Intermediate and College Algebra among many other Math related classes such as Arithmetic, Geometry, and Calculus. I used to be a Bilingual instructional Aide for Weaver Middle School in Merced for two years with good references from my supervisors about my duties.

I went to UC Merced with the goal of pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, in order to prepare me for admission to a PharmD program. From my studies at UC Merced, I earned a 3.78 GPA, and gained admission to multiple PharmD programs in California. While my formal tutoring experience is limited, I have had various experience tutoring friends and leading study groups in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and English.
I am a very empathetic teacher who gears my teaching based on the learner's needs. Each learner has a unique style of learning, and it is important for me as a tutor to cater to the learner's strengths.
