A Little Bit About Me...

I am ranked 12 ou of 496 in my class. I am an Honors and AP college student. I have a 4.83 grade point average. I take eight classes a day from 5:50am - 3:00pm. I am a voluntary tutor for students after school and I have been successfully doing that for a year now. I love working with studens and I get along with all of them because they are usually around my age as well.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated cum laude from the University of California, Irvine with a BA in history and minors in biology and psychology. Earning a history degree required me to write several essays, including a thirty-page research paper, and this experience made me a better writer (and eventually, a better teacher). After graduating, I worked at a tutoring center for over a year, teaching English and history to K-12 students and math to K-6 students. I also prepared students for AP history tests and the reading and writing components of the SAT. I have been in the field of education for approximately 14 years of which the last 8 years have been special education. I have worked with students of all ages, on all skill levels and many with learning disabilities through 8th grade. I was a high school art teacher for two years and I worked in a college library for four years. I am able and willing to work with students of all ages.
