I truly miss teaching and mentoring kids. I approach teaching as an opportunity to bring out the maximum potential within each student. I am a firm believer each student views learning differently, meaning as educators we need to ensure no student is left behind. I take a hands-on approach to education, stressing the importance of real life experiences. We should illustate to students how "what is learned today will become practical later in life."

A Little Bit About Me...

Working with grades 7-12 I used various methods of teaching different age groups. I use every day applications for courses to make it symbolic and understandable for students. I look for their strengths and weaknesses and focus on the areas of difficulty. I use the internet for an approach to their needs and some times testing. I show my students how to properly do a task or work through a problem and then I'll help them master the task or problem solution. It's important that my students can independently solve similar problems by using and adapting demonstrated methods.
