I attented Twin Falls Christian Academy throughout my highschool career. During the second semester of my junior year i recieved a credit for helping teach in the daycare facility. I also helped a first grade boy with his spelling and reading assignments due to his lack of understanding the English language. Throughout the rest of the year, I helped a couple more young kids in the same area. I did the same kind of stuff throughout my entire senior year and recieved a credit for teaching the preschool. I have always loved being around kids. I care about there well being and knowing that im someone they can look up to. I have loads of patience with them which was much needed with some of the children I had to take care of. I love teaching and working with all children of all ages. I believe that each child should be taught in the best possible way and encouraged to know that it is possible to achieve their educational goals that they can learn to set for themselves, and that they can do all things through their God given abilities, and with the potential that was instilled in them by God. I seriously like to help children of all ages to learn to read and write, because it is very important for their future, and towards their success in life. I will be honest, I did not graduate High School, but have had the privilege of homeschooling my son since Kindergarten. During college I had the opportunity to tutor while going to school. In our Math lab I was able to tutor one on one, as well as a in a group setting. On top of my tutoring experience in college I had the chance to take a class on how to help people develop study skills. Along with tutoring for a few semesters, I ahve recieved a BA degree in Math. I student taught Algebra and Geometry and am currently teaching Pre-Algebra and Algebra courses for Burley High School. Teaching is my passion. I started to realize this while helping classmates as early as middle school and have carried that drive with me through college and my teaching experiences so far.
