As a young man I had several problems with math. It turns out that I was unable to visualize what the equations meant in abstract algebra and calculus. Eventually I was able to relate these concepts to subjects that I found interesting such as music and archaeology. Therefore creating more interest in the subjects that I gravitated to naturally. I believe that I could explain concepts to others in a way that suits their interests. At the end of the day the reason I would be a good tutor is that I am truly interested in learning and teaching what I learn.

I have a range of experiences which help make me a superior candidate to tutor. I have lived and studied in Barcelona, Spain. During this experience I learned a lot about Spanish culture and brought my Spanish to a mastery level. I lived with a host family which gave me the opportunity to become more involve with Spanish culture and their traditions. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate student at Immaculata University, I have learned what it means to be an effective teacher. I will be student-teaching 11th and 12th grade English at Renaissance Academy in the fall. I have also been hired as the head men's golf coach at Valley Forge Christian College and have worked with kids of all ages at my church for the past 3 years.
