After a short time in industry, I returned to school to pursue my MS in Chemistry at the University of Hawaii. At the University of Hawaii, I had the opportunity to be a teaching assistant for four years and tutor undergraduate students in all aspects of chemistry. After 12 successful years as a pharmaceutical chemist, I began taking classes at Pace University and recently I have finished my requirements for graduation in August when I expect to receive my NYS Initial Certification in Chemistry 7-12.
