I believe in motivating children to be self learners through independent discovery. I particularly enjoy watching an apathetic student become excited when he/she has grasped a concept that was frustrating for him/her. I am a firm believer in children becoming responsible for their own learning. This is achieved when the teacher is able to teach and the child is able to learn. I worked as an eighth grade long term substitute for Math, Science and Social Studies for 5 months.
