I have tutored for different Universities in the fields of: Biology, Organic Chemistries, Physiology, Anatomy, Zoology. I taught Organic Chemistry lectures and labs at the University of West Alabama. I will also have a minor in Physics, and a B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering by the Fall of 2013. I have been a Regional Science Fair judge in the field of Biochemistry. I have presented research for the Alabama Academy of Sciences and the Association of Southestern Biologists. Also, I worked as a Process Engineer intern for BP Petrochemicals this summer (2012). I prefer to start off by making sure that students understand all underlying concepts related to the material in interests. I understand the math and science are often difficult for students to comprehend. Many teenagers and young adults feel like they will never use this knowledge in "real life" applications. Thus, when teaching this subjects, I try to draw parallels to real life applications. Often students are surprised to learn that science and math is all around them.
