For the last two years I have enjoyed working at the Brigham Young University -Hawaii Reading Writing Center as a tutor and center manager. My passion has been to help others learn and gain a better understanding of the world around them. At BYUH, my area of expertise was in English reading and writing, techniques, style, improvement, grammar and overall understanding of the English language. I have had over ten years of Spanish education and six years of French language studies, which have given me maximum grammar understanding and language proficiency. During my four years at Case Western Reserve University, I became aware of the needs of the city schools in the area and worked to help improve the situations in the schools. I worked with AmericaREADS, OhioREADS and other similar programs to help tutor children who were not able to get the individual attention they needed in the classroom.
