I enjoy working with children of most ages although I worked mainly with K, first, fourth and high school levels during my four years of experience. I believe everyone has the ability to reach their greatest potential with appropriate help and that sometimes extra assistance can be the difference between success and failure. Ever since I was introduced to American Sign Language (ASL), I have been deeply fascinated in the language and its speakers. A year after my initial experience with ASL, I decided to create my own Bachelor's Degree at the University of Utah. I was able to design curriculum pertaining to my desired field of interest. The classes I took were mostly education related. I had several classes in education psychology, multi-cultural education, diversity and culture. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate with my BA in English I have developed by ability to discuss and discover new solutions and alternative ideas. This has also inhanced my skills in communication, both oral and written. Over the past year I have also done substitute teaching at a local charter school. This experience has furtherd my desire to interact and contribute to our youth.
