Animations are the best way to learn

I have taught Anatomy and Physiology at the college level so I know the kind of questions that will be asked on exams and can teach you what to focus on. I can give you practice exams. I have tutored in Biology and focus on my student's needs. I got a 33 on the MCAT without studying much and I can teach you how to do that too.

My strongest suit in my teaching style is probably the many ways that I would approach teaching a certain principle. If the student does not understand one way to approach a problem, I try to best to help them understand and learn another way. I feel like since everyone learns differently, a tutor should approach a problem from as many angles as possible. My teaching style is also very patient. I suppose the saying "give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach a man how to fish, feed him for a lifetime" would apply to my style. I try to make sure the student understands the principles behind the type of problem and not just how to do the one problem. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in using all resources that are available to the student. If I see that one method of teaching is not working for the student (i.e. worksheet), then I will use a variety of games and flashcards to trigger learning in the student. I also believe in independent study, which gives the students a chance to provide me with feedback as to what they have learned from our tutoring sessions.
