I have completed the credit equivalent to an AA. My focus area was human services and psychology. I will continue to toward my BA in the same fields. I have always excelled in most areas regarding reading and English. While in college all student were required to take tests that would direct them toward appropriate classes that would help them in several areas of study. The only class available above my ability in reading/English was a speed reading course

During my time in college, I switched to become an educator as I discovered a passion to see the lives of children transformed. During my process of gaining my BS in Physical Education, I worked with many after school programs and taught both elementary and high school during my student teaching. Since college, I have taught and worked with children and youth around the world and currently volunteer in my local community, heading up an after school program that focuses on tutoring K-8th grade.
My greatest strength lies with my patience with children and flexibility to see what style of learning enables the child to best master the subject.
