A Little Bit About Me...

As an undergraduate I majored in English and also completed the secondary education program. I completed my student teaching assignment at a local high school in Colorado Springs and taught remedial English to students who had failed the class at least once prior. I then went to graduate school and earned my MA in English and entered the corporate world of education and training. My background is primarily in training adults but my passion for learning and pedagogy, as well as my personality that encourages and builds esteem, make me an excellent candidate for beginning a career as a tutor.

A Little Bit About Me...

My pre-medical school coursework allowed me to gain conceptual and hands-on understanding in the areas of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and biology. In addition to my scientific training, I enrolled in the Honors program with a concentration on Western Civilization. The curriculum that the Honors program offered took me through the writings of Homer to the films of Roman Polanski.
