Math and Physics tutor

Very patient. Usually I will explain the concept, present a practice problem, and double check to make sure he or she understands how to do it. But if possible, I will teach differently in the most effective way.
I have just finished junior year of high school and will be a senior this fall. Throughout my life I have always been especially good at math. I never fail to get an A in math every year. My comments on tutoring SAT - Math : I am not experienced in tutoring SAT math, however with my skills I feel very confident in tutoring this subject.

I just recently graduated California State University with a degree in Liberal Studies. Within this degree I chose to emphasize on mathematics because I want to become a high school math teacher. I have taken every course from Algebra-Intermediate Calculus. I am highly experienced in Algebra 1 and Geometry. I have been working at a probation school for a year and a half with at risk middle school and high school students. One of my many obligations is to help my students in math. I mainly tutor my students in Algebra 1 and Geometry.
I feel that positive reinforcement and patience are two very valuable traits when it comes to teaching. I work hard to ensure that I demonstrate these traits when working with my students.
