If you don't like the results, I haven't done my job.

I won the state championship in the 100 meters and went to Adams State College in Alamosa CO. Broke a leg in track and received withdrawn F across the board. Left college and healed up. Went to the Army two years and reserve three years. Came back and picked up the quickest degree possiable. Moved to Hawwaii, three years. Became a ciritified dept of defense government contractor. Furnish and deliver contracts. Ended up moving back home to Albuquerque NM. I started working in the Indian Casinos for 13 years. I bought a house and retired. But now I'm tired of sitting around.
All I do is tend to my students needs. I'm personal. Like to get off track with my students and lead them back to the point.

( Fish, Cats, Rabbits,Dogs, and birds.)I'm free from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. weekdays and 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. weekends and summer vacation. I can tutor, babysit, and take care of animals.I know how to cook basic things so if your looking for a babysitting tutor and will be away your child will be in good hands. My strong suite is probably science and history. I can help almost anyone improve their test grades ( as long as they are trying ) I'm not the tutor for someone struggling in Math past elementary levels though because I don't think I'd be able to help anyone entering algebra. ( I find it too complicated to explain.)I'll make learning fun for your child and will definitely have fun activities to do when we have spare time. Personally I believe nobody should work for mo ... read more

I have been a credentialed teacher for 4 years. I work primarily with students with moderate/severe disabilities. Previously, I was a teacher's aid, tutor and daycare worker. I am credentialed in both general education and special education. I have experience working with a wide variety of learners in all subject areas. I have worked with students who are simply trying to get ahead in school, students who are falling behind and need homework help, students who are about to be retained, to students who are significantly delayed and are on their own curriculum program. My special education background allows me to support all levels of students and support different learning styles.
I prefer to provide students with hands on and/or visual tools during learning when possible. I like to make the educational topic meaningful and interesting to the student.

Biology is one of my top subjects! I have a Bachelors Degree in Animal Studies (Pre-Veterinarian Studies) with a high emphasis on biology, anatomy, physiology, chemistry, microbiology, life sciences and general science categories.

I am a business professional working in the medical device and manufacturing industry in quality. My background experience is highly involved in all aspects of science including biology, chemistry, microbiology, anatomy and physiology. I was involved in high school in the Advanced Placement program in both History and English and have experince in all types of writing and grammar skills. I received my Master of Business Administration where I learned skills in public speaking and presentation. I am looking for a part time tutoring position because I have always enjoyed the teaching aspect of learning new skills and am looking for a part time job that will highlight my abilities and help out others at the same time.
My teaching style is a hands on "learn by doing" approach. I believe that kids learn when they are fully engaged by using all of their senses to learn a subject matter, ... read more

A Little Bit About Me...

I encourage students to question problem solving methods in order to understand the fundamentals. After an explanation of the material I often follow up with several example problems to help students test their mastery of the subject. I do not emphasize memorizing equations, because students do not learn about the physical phenomena by memorization. I also explain to students study techniques that have worked well for me in the past. I work well with both individuals and small groups.
I am a senior undergraduate student enrolled at Georgia Tech. My major is nuclear and radiological engineering, but i have experience in the fields of mechanical and civil engineering. I am most experienced in the subjects of mathematics, radiation physics, and electromagnetics including: algebra (I and II), trigonometry, differential equations, calculus 1 and 3, reactor physics, radiation protection/ ... read more
