In addition, I pride myself on being patient and considerate when working with children who are having difficulty grasping the key concepts. Furthermore, I utilize many memory and teaching techniques, so that all students may understand the important characteristics of the subject matter they are trying to comprehend.

I have had experience tutoring undergraduate level students with various levels of mathematics and accounting courses while at college from 2002-2006. I also have over 3 years of experience mentoring professional staffs on accounting job functions.
I believe I can be a good teacher as I have the necessary background and the experience. The fact that I like sharing knowledge would only add to my interest in a teaching opportunity. If I have a choice, I would prefer one-on-one type tutoring classes to group courses. My style of teaching is pretty basic. I would want my students to spend a lot of time practicing and knowing their subject matters. I would want my students to put in the required dedication to the educational opportunity on hand.

I have not taught anyone or tutored anyone for money. However, I would like to have the oppitunity to be able to tutor children or young adults on their way of the journey of life. I too was tutored going through school and not just once. I attended Sylvin Learning Center every other year since sixth grade. It helped me understand the areas that I didnt and excel in the areas I did. I would like to give thas opportunity to someone else.
I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. My goal is to provide the best education possible and to suceed in that is to have great communication and alittle fun doing the work that is expected.

Teaching is a noble profession that has always been an important part of my life. Both my grandmother and mother taught. Teaching is trying to impart not only knowledge but a love of learning to the student. I motivate students to learn, and I also help them to defy the odds no matter their situation or ability. It is important to me to ensure that the student understands the subject matter at all times. Not all students are the same and so my style of teaching varies in order to make an impact on the student. I remain patient with students and respect them. I have experience tutoring both high school and college students in chemistry and mathematics. Along with my scientific credentials, I have also been very successful in learning and teaching Spanish.
