I have been tutoring since I was in high school. Between that and teaching Sunday School and Children's Church, I have more than ten years of experience. I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. My goal is to provide the best education possible and to suceed in that is to have great communication and alittle fun doing the work that is expected.

I have always been gifted in mathematics, and I feel that is is my duty to help others achieve the success that I have. I earned a BS from Bucknell University in mathematics and I am now working towards a PhD in statistics at NC State University. I have taken education courses and I have worked with professors to run "gifted and talented" mathematic courses for students.
I have always found that the best teachers are the ones who are able to explain the same concept in a variety of ways, so this is what I seek to do when teaching.
