I always had a passion for helping kids. I always wanted kids to be the best they can be in class and outside of class. Growing up, I didn't have the help that I needed. But now I want to help the kids who need the help. I used to live in chicago and I help kids with math any subject that was needed. I started tutoring students middle and high school prior to graduating college. I have taught part-time college students at various institutions since 1996. I also have worked as an independent tutor part-time. I have more than 30 years of experience teaching as a one-on-one tutor and as a college instructor. I currently teach at Wake Tech Community College. I have taught at Strayer University, Campbell University, Mount Olive College, Durham Tech Community College, Central Carolina Community College and Vance-Granville Community College. When the opportunity arose to help my alma mater, I took the change to teach debate, public speaking, political science, and advise college level students. A Little Bit About Me...

I have not taught anyone or tutored anyone for money. However, I would like to have the oppitunity to be able to tutor children or young adults on their way of the journey of life. I too was tutored going through school and not just once. I attended Sylvin Learning Center every other year since sixth grade. It helped me understand the areas that I didnt and excel in the areas I did. I would like to give thas opportunity to someone else.
I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. My goal is to provide the best education possible and to suceed in that is to have great communication and alittle fun doing the work that is expected.
