Currently a sophomore in High School, I'm looking to tutor up to around the 6-7th grade levels. I have very much experience in science especially. Currently in biology Honors. I have not taught anyone or tutored anyone for money. However, I would like to have the oppitunity to be able to tutor children or young adults on their way of the journey of life. I too was tutored going through school and not just once. I attended Sylvin Learning Center every other year since sixth grade. It helped me understand the areas that I didnt and excel in the areas I did. I would like to give thas opportunity to someone else.
I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. I think that a good educator is the key to success in a child's life. I can still remember my second grade teacher (Ms. Golf), she made learning fun and seemed like everyday was an adventure in her class. Sadly, not all teachers are like that. I do believe that all children learn in different ways. I think that if a child is given a chance and shown some patience, there isn't anything they can't acheive. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated in the top 15% of my class from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I then started my own company as a Spanish instructor. I taught Spanish to medical professionals and at the local preschools in the Boone, NC area. Last school year I taught high school Spanish. I currently work as a Spanish/ESL instructor at a college in the evenings. In addition, I have tutored high school and college students in Spanish.
