I have been tutoring for the past five years. I have tutored a large variety of students including high school, middle school, and elementary school students. The way how I run my classes are first we do a warm up on the subject that I will be teaching and then I will teach the student a lesson. After teaching the student I will give them practice and let them answer any questions. And then towards the end of the class, I will give them a mini quiz where to understand the strength and weaknesses.

A Little Bit About Me...

Education has always been my field of interest. When my children were young (8 and 4), I've been teaching in order to match my schedule with their school hours and vacations. With French as my mother's tongue and because I studied in French, I was very excited about the opportunity to serve the Foreign Langage Program initiated by the PTA at Montgomery County Public Schools in MD. I've been teaching within this program until I moved in Western Maryland recently. In parallel, I was a substitute teacher with the county. I passed the PRAXIS tests(I, II, III). I taught also with BELL program in after school program to help students in DC public schools. I worked as well as accounting and went to college to get additional credits for the CPA exam. I like to make the students think logical instead of methodically deriving the answers. I try to concentrate on teaching problem solving skills, as this would strengthen their base.
