I have no teaching experience but I'm in the process of getting my State Of Georgia teaching certification though troops to teachers program sponsor by the Georgia Department of Labor. I also applied and was accepted in the Thomson Learning program teaching ESL in South Korea for one year. I was also employed part time as a GED Test Proctor though Harrisburg Area Community College. What I have learned working with students is that many do not learn in the same manner. I beleive in what is called top process learning. Given the student a concept and allowing them to explore the possibilities of how one arrives at such a concept has allowed deeper critical thinking and strategic planning. However, this method is not predominately taught in Georgia education system. I have found this method to be very effective. The other method is patience.
