I obtained a B.S. in Biology, with a concentration in aquatic science, from Wittenberg University in 2006. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored elementary students in math and science twice a week for two years. After college, I moved into the marine science profession. I have taught elementary school in private and public settings, in both New York City and Florida. I taught high school English and Global Studies in New York city. My comments on tutoring GED : I graduated high-school with a 5.1 GPA (AP courses raise average), and I have previously tutored a friend earning his GED.

I was the valedictorian of my graduating high school class and one of the top high school math and science students in the nation, but I was not always a stellar student. For instance, I received a “D” in math in the second grade.
