I enjoy tutoring children with highly engaging activities !

I have been an AB student my whole life, and I was in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in high school. I consistently help my siblings with their homework (ages 5, 13, and 16), and have worked with after-school tutoring programs with friends. I have a relaxed, stress-free teaching style, while staying on task and topic. I make sure the pupils really understand the material by breaking things down to the basics, and reviewing the foundations. My comments on tutoring Algebra : All Math through Calculus are easy and straight forward.

Breaking step down till a layman can understand and I love to be interrupted with questions.
I have tutored math very often and over the course of helping others, I've learned the British ways of solving a math problem is extremely easy while the American ways are a bit confusing for the students. I could remember a day while working at Dollar Tree HQ in the Finance Department, a math problem arises and it took my supervisor 12 minutes while I solved it in 45 seconds. We arrived at the same answer however, time is of the essence.

I believe that a student who lacks the basic fundamental skills in reading and mathematics will struggle to stay focused in class and continually be disruptive and ultimately stop attending school. My teaching style is consistently accommodating especially to these types of students.
