After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, I determined that I wanted to pursue a teaching career. I enrolled in the Master’s in Elementary Education program at the University of Phoenix. My work in elementary schools has been as a paraeducator, both as an instructional para with general classroom duties and as an intensive special needs para. This experience has allowed me to work with students with Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and various other disabilities.
