Students need inspiration!.

I have led several small groups of teenagers and young adults in Biblical studies at Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church, several musical groups in practicing and performing, and a summer-long book club at Crown College. In gaining my Associate of Arts degree from Crown College, I also led many study groups on subjects ranging from Chemistry to Physics, English Literature to Creative Writing.
I love discovering each individual student and the way to help them learn. My goal is to help students become inspired by their subject matter so that it can play a role in their lives as well as their test scores.

I believe that everything is interconnected, much like a spider web, and that if you can connect information to what interests a person, than learning can become easy, and fun, and more importantly, less stressful and more meaningful. When information is difficult to understand, it is not the fault of the student, in my opinion; it is, if any fault at all, the fault of the teacher who is not presenting it properly. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a substitute teaching license from the state of Colorado. I have been subbing for Denver Public Schools and Cherry Creek School District for over three years. I have worked with ages ranging from Kindergarten to 8th grade.
