I taught Spanish to undergraduate students at the University of Arizona for one year after college. I was a home educator for children from zero to three. I have taught and tutored elementary-aged students as an aide, literacy volunteer and day-care provider. I have taught English as a second language to adult learners. I greatly enjoy finding a way to inspire a child to understand the problem at hand. Through from my experience in grade school and my observation of students that attend tough schools I've realized the monotonous class schedule and disciplinary philosophy of most schools deflates most student's desire to succeed.
