I have always enjoyed working with students one-on-one. To teach effectively one must understand what motivates the individual, and the only way to do that is to spend time with that person. If a student is a visual learner, I will use visual aids to illustrate the lesson. If a student is an auditory learner, I will concentrate on lecture or video instruction. The key to student learning is to engage the student's interest.
