A Little Bit About Me...

I am a certified teacher k-12 in visual arts and have been teaching for the last ten years. I have an AA -Aeronautics, BA-Graphic Design, M.Ed.Art and MDiv degree. I have been tasked with improving the reading and writing skills of my students 9th through 12th grade. The majority of children are left brain thinkers and need to be challenged to utilize the right brain to evaluate, analyze, interpret, and understand the meaning of concepts and ideas. Higher level depth of knowledge thinking must employ the elements of the right brain: imagination, creativity, intuition, faith, and innovation, which are all necessary elements in problem solving.

I am great at teaching youth and adults alike in getting the best education and setting goals. I am always excited about helping someone learn something new and training them different methods of learning and retaining the knowledge. I believe that success comes through education. I believe that education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the World.
I believe in getting a good education. I was in the Unites States Navy for 16 years. I joined the military right out of high school. I received my Certificate in Management, Associate of Arts degree, and Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland College Park, Maryland while traveling and serving on active duty for my country. I have mentored and worked with many after school programs.
