Even though I hold a business degree I have always had a love for working with children. As a college student I worked for two different families as a nanny, where I assisted a total of five children with their school work and projects among other things. After obtaining my BS in Finance from the University of Central Florida I went on to get married and work in a bank. It was shortly after that when I realized that my real passion was with children. When whole group or direct instruction was needed, I utilized it; if hands-on instruction was needed, I utilized that strategy. I am a firm believer that using a multi-sensory approach is the way to go in any instrucitonal program.
