I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. I have been working in the Accounting field for 9 years and plan to sit for the CPA exam in the future. In the accounting field many talents are needed: problem solving skills, patience, attention to detail, explanations of technical ideas and terms as well as the ability to meet deadlines. I enjoy helping others learn. Something in which I have always excelled is helping them look at learning something from another view point than they have been. Learning in a hands-on manner using real life situations is the best manner in teaching any subject to a student.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is different for each student. I have never considered myself a student that things come easy to. I always had to find a way to relate to the material, and when I tutor that is exactly what I try to achieve with each student. Sometimes all it takes is it being explained one more time a different way.
As a graduate of the top chiropractic school in the world, I have achieved a high level of education. I have a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Through out the years I have taught 5-8th graders in various subjects, as well as helped teach for a national board review company to chiropractic students all over the country in a variety of topics. I was also the editor-in-chief for the Palmer Triune, helping me obtain an excellent understanding and appreciation for the English language.

A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated with BA of Mathematics from Carthage College, one of the top 10 colleges in the Midwest according to U.S. News and World Report. My tutoring experience includes 3 years of college level and 2 years of high school level. I worked at Carthage as math tutor and department service fellow, and was recognized for my work by receiving the “Outstanding Service to the Math Dept.” award for the 2008-2009 academic year. While tutoring college I covered levels from high school Introduction to Math to college Calculus. I have worked mostly in one on one or small group settings, with some experience in tutoring entire classes.
