My comments on tutoring Elementary Phonics : I am familiar with Visual Phonics for Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I am aware of the skills in Wilson Phonics. These are skills needed for success in public speaking.

Over 16 years, I have taught various subjects for students with hearing impairments. I also have experience in teaching students with multiple disabilities as well. My comments on tutoring Elementary Phonics : Phonics are important for sounding out words but must be taught in some real context to make sense to students. I have materials to work with students.

Prefer to facilitate learning and provide more hands on activities. Try to connect reading with writing as the two subjects are very much intertwined in the skills they take. Great at teaching across the curriculum to help students in subject areas that require reading of nonfiction
