A Little Bit About Me...

On the survey sheets that I've seen, I'm often praised for being very patient with students and very respectful of the students, no matter what their level of understanding. I typically spend very little time in verbal explanation, but a lot of time if running through examples with students so they can see the patterns for themselves... practice makes perfect.
I've found that I really enjoy teaching students, especially those who are struggling, because of the satisfaction that comes with seeing the light come on. I've had many students explain to me that my class is the first one that they've done well and actually understand the concepts. I've taught Project Management for the University of Phoenix in the past, but I especially enjoy teaching math at Pima College... Statistics and the various levels of Algebra.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. During my college experience at the University of Arizona, I have participated in two programs that allowed me to teach a wide variety of students of different backgrounds and different ages. I have worked with children as young as four years to 16 years of age. I taught Science-based lessons (Entomology and Marine Discovery). Also,I have tutored high school students in English and different levels of Math.
