I have been involved in Teaching and tutoring Arabic for more than twenty years, I graduated from the university of Manouba, Tunis Tunisia and I had a minor course as well from the university of East Anglia in Norwich, England. currently, I am teaching Arabic language and culture at the University of Arizona; I started in September 2015. When I was a student, I took linguistics, American and British literature, translation, French and Spanish, but I majored in English. Positive reinforcement and making learning fun are my main goals when it comes to instruction. I want students to be excited when they know I have the next lesson waiting for them. I encourage participation and take every mistake as a learning experience.
As a writer and artist, my focus has always been in journalism, literature and related fields. I have earned both a bachelor's and master's degree, BFA in Creative Writing, MA in English literature with a focus on folklore. With a love for the French language, I have studied it for more than six years at the college level and was certified as proficient in reading, writing and speaking the language for my MA. I am a widely published author with impeccable grammatical and writing skills. I tutored for one year at the college level and taught for five in the College for Kids program at a community college in Brooklyn, N.Y.
