I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have endorsements in Science, Language Arts, and Social Science. I student taught 1st grade and spent the 2008-2009 school year as a Teaching Assistant for two Kindergarten classrooms. During my time as a student teacher and teaching assistant I have worked with students individually, small groups, and as a whole group. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a very laid-back, out going person but I never stray from the main goal at hand. I strive to help educate children the best way possible, and would like to make a difference in their life. My education growing up was very positive, and going to a smaller school enabled me to have one on one contact with my educators. I hope to allow the child to feel comfortable with me as a tutor and build a relationship that makes them feel like they are an individual, not a number.
As a recreation major, I have held a number of jobs working with children of all ages.
