I have been involved in the Microbiology field for over 40 years. I have taught Microbiology to employees and student interns. The Medical Society of New York chose me to educate physicians regarding the CLIA laws governing all clinical laboratories. As a laboratory consultant I have taught laboratory employees at physicians' offices. Although I have never officially tutored, I have instructed students on a one on one basis. I love Microbiology. My enthusiasm for this science is evident when I teach. I believe in building a strong knowledge base by emphasizing basics.

I have my bachelor degree, BS in Chemistry, As well as an associates in Graphic Design. I have gained an understanding in many areas of math and science and spacial concepts. I have BS degrees in education and industrial engineering. I also have an MS Teachers in Geosciences. I have worked for much of my career as an engineer but have also taught earth science at the high school level for two years in the recent past. I have great enthusiasm for the world we live in and the study of earth science. I look forward to working one on one with students that are having difficulty and helping them make the grade. I believe a good teacher should have the following attributes. First, they should love their respective subject. Second, they should have real world experience that can tie to the lesson of the day. Third, they should understand the needs and desires of their students. Lastly, they must have a firm but fair method of classroom discipline. I began mentoring students during my tenure at Regis High School, a private, full-scholarship-only high school in New York City at the age of 17. After attending Villanova University and Fordham University's Graduate School of Business Administration, I began tutoring part-time with Studypoint.
