I have a B.S. in Computer Studies and have spent the last 19 years as a computer programmer. I have great tech skills, including the Microsoft Office applications. I am proficient in Math and recently tutored in that subject at a private middle school. I also have very good grammatical and writing skills, having done quite a bit of technical and expository writing, both for business and for the education classes I've taken in the last few years. In addition, I've taken French through the upper division courses in college and can tutor in that area. Teaching has long been a passionate calling of mine. I have over 37 years experience managing peoply in Supply Chain management and material acquisition. In this role I designed and wrote courses. Using Power Point presentations I taught courses in my field to over 100 students in classes as small as ten to as large as fifty. I also tutored children for two years in the Leon County literacy Volunteer program and one year in the ESOL program. I enjoy teaching and helping young people. I have enjoyed each of my teaching and tutoring roles very much. Teaching young people is particulaly rewarding as it provides the opportunity to motovate and make a positive impact on the lives of people who have a long future to give back to society.

I have been in the teaching field for 2 years now and I love it. Although I've taught during VBS and other church functions, I have been in the Gadsden County School District for 2 years.
