I graduated from UW Oshkosh with a BS degree in Elementary Education and English. I have been a teacher for 18 years. I have taught all subjects to PreK, second and third grades. I have also worked with At risk high school students. I am currently a professional caregiver and activity aide in a group home with individuals who have physical and cognitive disabilities. While going to college at the UW – Eau Claire, I've been a math and statistics tutor for the past four years. From my tutoring experiences last year, my teaching style would best be described as very proactive. Many of the students were extremely frustrated by the concepts that they did not understand. This created an apathetic attitude towards the subject. Due to the lack of interest that I observed, I decided to go through problem by problem with the students.
