I like to provide an explanation, and have the student complete a similar exercise themself, with help from me only as needed. I am a senior at the University of South Carolina Honors College. In May 2013, I will graduate with degree in Biology, a minor in English, and a cognate in Chemistry. My current GPA is 3.928. I was a pre-med student until recently, and I was my high school Valedictorian. I have tutored children in the past from ages 7 to 13, but I am comfortable tutoring all ages. I am also have a strong knowledge of the German language.

I graduated from Morehead State University with a BS in Chemistry and a Geology minor in 1996. I used this degree to obtain work in my field, and outside of my field for the past 14 years. I have strong, hands-on experience with Chemistry principles and have experienced them on a daily basis for over 5 years. I also have experience working in a customer support role and have been responsible for helping people of all ages and backgrounds solve problems in a quick, and effective manor. In all, I feel I have learned how to help all different types of people solve problems in an effective and respectful way. Patience and listening are the two most valuable parts of my teaching style.
