Experience Summary
I graduated from Morehead State University with a BS in Chemistry and a Geology minor in 1996. I used this degree to obtain work in my field, and outside of my field for the past 14 years. I have strong, hands-on experience with Chemistry principles and have experienced them on a daily basis for over 5 years. I also have experience working in a customer support role and have been responsible for helping people of all ages and backgrounds solve problems in a quick, and effective manor. In all, I feel I have learned how to help all different types of people solve problems in an effective and respectful way.
Teaching Style
Patience and listening are the two most valuable parts of my teaching style. No one learns well in a hostile or rushed environment. I believe that the potential is there for all to learn even the most difficult subject matter and it is truly a joy to see the light of understanding shine through a student's eyes. I believe that my education and experience in the disciplines I hope to tutor are just the keys needed to unlock a student's true potential so that they may truly become whatever they want to become in life.
