Shakespeare is one of my top subjects! Me thinks an expert of the shakesperean verse.

I have a basic approach to tutoring and teaching students: - Identify what the student knows and still needs to learn to get where we need to bo. - Identify the strengths and weaknesses...and review the strengths and work at a rigoris pace to get where we know the child's skill level needs to be. - Celebrate the students successes to build thier confidence and increase their willingness to learn more and utlimately do better. _ Building a relationship with the student that we are partners in their education and we both will work to reach our set goals.

A Little Bit About Me...

I started tutoring in 2009 through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana. I tutor my "Little" for an hour once a week. I help with whatever subject they need. My specialty is Language Arts, but if you need help with basic math, I can do that too. I have observed many elementary, middle school, and high school classes. I know what works best, especially since I'm going to become a high school language arts teacher in a few years.
I'm patient. I'll try and make my lessons easy to understand. I know how frustrating language arts can be, but I also know how rewarding it can be as well. I can relate very easily to high school students, because I just graduated from high school 5 years ago.
