I like to be serious and get things done but I also like to have fun. I like to take things they are interested in and incorporate that into their learning. I am a High School Student at Legend High School I am a level 8 gymnast so weekends are the only time I have open. I love working with younger kids. I have worked with younger kids in Science fields before and their grades have gone up on an average of 4%. I have not taken algebra since middle school, but as algebra builds upon other subjects, I know most of it. My teaching style is flexible because every student learns differently. What I usually start out with is showing examples and having the student ask questions along the way. Then, I allow the student to try some problems as we work through them together. Although I do not have much experience with regards to tutoring, I often help my fellow peers with their homework and tutor them on the things that they struggle on. I am a strong student, currently #1 in my class, with straight A's with enrollment in Advanced Placement classes.
