Experience Summary
I have taught over 20 students during my undergraduate and graduate study. Most of the students that I have taught are engineering students who need help with the basic understanding of concepts and visualizing problems.
The subjects that I normally teach are Chemical Engineering subjects, Engineering Physics, Chemistry and Basic Math classes.
My wife teaches Computer Science, she possesses a Master's degree in Computer Science and has taught Java and C++ during her grad school. She has a good knowledge in programming and can help with beginner to intermediate level programming concepts.
Teaching Style
I find out what exactly the student is lacking in the subject by asking a few basic questions on the topic and make a judgement of the student's understanding on the topic and then proceed forward. I normally explain the concepts in diagrams so that it makes it easier for the student to visualize the problem and give the student plenty of practice problems for him/her to work on to make their understanding better
