My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have taken many creative writing courses and I write as one of my hobbies.

I have for many years helped friends and family when they have needed help with history papers, literature and writing homework, etc. I would love to assist others to achieve success in school as well. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I graduated from Columbia College of Chicago with a BA in Screenwriting, and I minored in Fiction Writing. Any form of writing, poetry or prose, film or television, is an absolute passion of mine. Can't get enough!

I have a Bachelors in English from Dominican University. I began A Plus Master Tutoring Center over 4 years ago and was teaching in my home. Now we have expanded to a center in Oak Park and we tutor all ages, from Pre-K to adults. Our subjects range from phonics to algebra. Our teaching styles vary from a 3:1 ratio, which would include up to three students and one tutor, or a 1:1 ratio which would be a private session with a student and a tutor. Session prices range from $25-$27 depending on the type of session. We pride ourselves in being an affordable tutoring center compared with the prices of Huntington and Sylvan learning centers. I am not young enough to know everything

I agree with the concept that each person learns a bit differently, and even more so that as a tutor, I should try and find the most effective style for my tutee. My academic career also taught me the importance of setting time limits for each action item; and switching tasks to keep the mind sharp.
