I take a look at what the existing instruction materials are attempting to convey and I add to that or expound on that. I use Google extensively to look for similar examples to the problems the student might be having. I believe that it is best to solve any given problem in at least two different ways if you really want to get some insight. It also helps in either verifying your answer or checking if you are in the ballpark.

A Little Bit About Me...

In the job I had where I mentored kids, it was a program called Lil Kickers. This program was for kids 3-10 years old where they were taught how to listen to instructions and communicate with one another. This was mixed in with games that helped their motor skills and ultimately helped them with their soccer skills. I have learned it is very important to be enthusiastic and passionate with the kids.

During my time as an graduate student, I tutored undergraduate classes in organic and math while I was a Teachers Assistant for the General Chemistry classes. I ran and graded three lab classes as part of my duties.
I homeschool my children in math, art and science. They ask question about a subject and I give them answers to their questions.
