I have my BS in Paralegal Studies from Peirce College, with a minor in English. In 2010 I earned my Masters Degree from Drexel University in Library and Information Science. I completed several graduate level courses on youth instruction. In addition, I have mentored children and adults with ADD. At the age of 19 I was diagnosed with ADD and went through an intensive learning disability program consisting of various types of learning and processing. I would like to help children conquer the disability before they pick up bad study habits and poor self-esteem.

Reading is the Key to Success!

My teaching style is flexible. I create a lesson plan that is individualized and benficial to that of the student I am tutoring. I adapt and adjust the curriculum to what is of primary importance to my student.
I have worked in the field of education as a teacher for 30 years. I have taught basic skills in foundations of Reading to middle school students. I have also taught all subject areas to elementary school children. The most memorable and most valuable experience in my career was teaching first graders how to read. It takes a trained professional to be able to lay out the framework children need to learn how to read. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelors in Science. My major was public health and I minored in biology and psychology.
